About the CSI Library: Policy: ADA

Mission, policies, services, staff, and contact information

ADA Policy (7/8/2015)

College of Southern Idaho Library is committed to providing equitable access to information and services to all faculty, staff, students, and members of the College of Southern Idaho community. In compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), library staff will make good faith efforts to accommodate reasonable requests for assistance in obtaining, accessing, and making use of library resources, materials, and services.

Wheelchair Accessible Computer Stations

The CSI Library has one electric lift wheelchair accessible computer station.  There is a switch in the front of the station that students can use to raise the table as needed.  There is a clearly visible sign identifying the wheelchair accessible station.

Students in wheelchairs always have priority on the use of the electric lift station.  When all the other computers are used in the library and we do not have a student with disability needing to use the computer, other patrons can use the wheelchair accessible station.  If a student in a wheelchair needs the computer, non-disabled patrons must yield the station promptly.
